Josh is still in the hospital. He got 3 units of blood on Sunday and is getting 2 more units today. His bone marrow is not functioning properly to sustain him with the amount of blood that it should. With time his bone marrow could start working again or he might need a bone marrow transplant. His fever has come down. His blood pressure is still low. His condition is very serious. We are asking for no visitors since his risk of catching another infection is extremly high. If you’ve called the hospital room and its been busy its because the phone is off the hook. He can’t reach the phone and doesn’t really feel like talking anyway.
A few people have asked about donating blood. You can’t specifically donate blood for Josh however you can donate in his name. That way if you don’t have his blood type they can still use it.
