Josh was transferred to RMH today. It was quite a battle. He was opposed to being transferred but I demanded it. I love FMH and Dr. Barrett BUT he is 28 with stage 3 cancer, we don’t see that at FMH. He is very serious. If he has any chance of healing from this he needed to be at RMH. He was transferred here about 1pm. Dr. Schertz has been in and looked at the incision and drainage tube and was impressed with Dr. Barrett’s work as I knew he would be. He said that we will be here until at least Tuesday. This may change our chemotherapy cycles some. He wants Josh to be on long term antibiotics for the infection. We also have to be very very very careful with visitors. Right now Josh is getting a unit of blood. He should get 1 more tonight and maybe more tomorrow.
We got some very exciting news today. We got a letter from the schools…..Kobie is starting preschool in the fall!!! We haven’t told him yet because we haven’t seen him. He is going to be SO excited…I can’t wait until we can tell him!
